Under the supervision of the STEM Education (SE) Supervisor, the Instructor is responsible for delivering lessons and leading campers through a variety of activities such as crafts, sports, and games. Additional responsibilities include the completion of required administrative duties and maintaining smooth, cooperative, and professional relations with staff, campers, and parents. Camp Instructors will also work closely with Camp Leaders and Volunteers.ResponsibilitiesPlan, deliver, and modify program lessons and activities.Ensure safety, wellbeing and enjoyment of campers from ages 415 years old.Make accommodations for campers with varying learning needs.Work collaboratively with coLeaders and Instructors to deliver daily programs.Assist camp Leaders with recreational and classroom activities.Supervise and coordinate lunchtime, before and after care.Administrative tasks associated with the program including camper registration, incident reports, and attendance.Attend staff orientation and any necessary staff meetings.Communicate professionally with parents and guardians about their childs experience at camp.QualificationsExperience working in a childcare/educational setting delivering lesson plans and curriculum (minimum 1 year).Previous experience working or volunteering in camp related or recreational activities is an asset.Previous experience with curriculum design and implementation is an asset.The ability to work well in a team and individually.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.Previous experience in or a passion for Robotics (LEGO Mindstorms EV3, Sillbird, and Sphero), Engineering, and/or coaching/teaching.Must be available for 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, June 29 - August 28, 2026.Must be available for mandatory staff training June 22-26, 2026.Salary$18.00 per hourClosing DateOpen until a suitable candidate is foundApplication InstructionsA cover letter and resume should be submitted in one .pdf formatted document.
