The Opportunity We are looking for an Asset Supervisor to be the ultimate bridge between our design vision, the 3D production floor and the clients high standards for an unannounced, highprofile streaming series. In this role, you are the gatekeeper of quality and the operational glue for the Modeling and Surfacing. Working sidebyside with the Line Producer, Director and CG/VFX Supervisors, you will align the Modeling and Surfacing, in close collaboration with the Rigging team, with the client's creative goals and guarantee timely, shotready deliveries to downstream departments. If you thrive on solving complex technical puzzles and leading a team to build breathtaking 3D worlds, we want you on our front line. Success looks like Asset Management & Quality Control Oversee, manage Modeling and Surfacing creation, ensure Stellars outputs are highly aligned with clients creative and technical requirements. Ensure every asset delivered to the floor is truly 'shotready' and meets the high technical and aesthetic quality standards. Team Leadership & Mentorship Lead and inspire a team of modeling and surfacing artists, actively supporting their professional growth and technical development. Provide clear, constructive feedback to elevate the team's output while gracefully guiding them through constant production changes and client revisions. Maintain an opencommunication environment, utilizing active listening and a proactive 'client service' mentality when supporting your crew. Production Partnership & Tracking Collaborate tightly with the Production team to establish realistic delivery schedules and maintain quality benchmarks. Maintain a clear view of the horizon for future hurdles or challenges and keep Production notified of potential blockers to the schedule. Meticulously track asset creation progress and approvals, ensuring no bottlenecks hold up the downstream departments. Pipeline & Technical Problem Solving Collaborate with the Pipeline department to ensure a smooth flow of assets, proactively identifying workflow flaws and championing potential improvements. Communicate constantly with the CG Supervisor to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues before they impact the schedule. The Requirements MustHaves Experience: 3+ years of experience in a Supervisor or Lead position overseeing the asset creation process. Tools: Expertlevel proficiency in Maya and a comprehensive understanding of industrystandard asset software and workflows. Leadership Style: You are proactive, highly organized, and confident. You enjoy the energy of a fastpaced creative team and can communicate clearly in person or over video calls. Technical: Deep understanding of the animation production pipeline. Production: Experience with Flow Production Tracking (Shotgrid) for reviewing and tracking shot progress. Eligibility: Legally eligible to work in British Columbia, Canada NicetoHaves Experience working within a hybrid 2D/CG aesthetic. Deep knowledge of both 3D episodic television and feature film asset workflows. Why Join Stellar?
