Join us and be a key part of a high-performing team driving impactful change!Learn more at the JobWe are hiring a Senior QA/QC Coordinator to step into a new role our Quality team on the Mobilinx project. This position reports to the Quality Control Manager.What You Will Be Doing?Lead and support the implementation of the Construction Quality Management Plan across all project phases, ensuring full compliance with contractual, regulatory, and project requirements.Prepare, review, and analyze regular quality reports and executive-level quality summaries for the Quality Control Manager, including trend analysis and proactive recommendations for continuous improvement.Oversee and coordinate the development, review, and approval of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for all construction activities in collaboration with the Quality Control Manager and construction teams.Ensure that all quality records related to the Quality Management System and ITP implementation are accurately maintained, controlled, and archived within the construction quality record management system.Verify that approved Inspection and Test Plans are developed, reviewed, and authorized prior to the commencement of any construction activity.Lead and conduct quality inspections for incoming materials and construction activities in accordance with approved ITPs, confirming that completed works meet project specifications, standards, and drawings.Monitor, track, and report the status of inspections, tests, and hold/witness points, ensuring timely communication with the Quality Control Manager and project stakeholders.Manage the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process, including identification, initiation, documentation, and tracking of non-conforming materials, work, or processes, and promptly elevate critical issues to senior quality management.Coordinate and support the investigation, resolution, and close-out of NCRs, verifying that corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented and validated.Review and evaluate materials testing reports from external laboratories, subcontractors, and key suppliers, ensuring compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.Ensure construction teams are working with the latest approved revisions of drawings and specifications, coordinating closely with document control to prevent quality deviations.Collaborate with the Construction Compliance and Client/Authority (CA) teams to plan and conduct joint inspections, communicate findings, and support timely resolution of quality issues.Participate in and contribute to quality meetings with the client, owner, consultants, and project team, providing technical input and status updates on quality performance.Mentor and guide junior QA/QC personnel, promoting quality awareness, consistency in inspections, and adherence to established quality procedures.What We Are Looking For?Post-secondary education in construction, engineering or technician and significant quality control and assurance experience or an equivalent combination of experience and technical training.Advanced working knowledge of ISO 900:2015 and construction standards specifications in Ontario.A minimum of 5 years experience working with Quality Control for complex P3 Projects or Heavy Civil Projects.Experience with MS Office including Word and Excel.Expected CompensationSuccessful candidates chosen for this position can expect to earn between 90,000.00 CAD - $120,000.00 CAD The exact salary you will earn within this range is dependant on the specific project to which you are assigned.Why Choose Webuild?Competitive compensation & retirement savings We offer a strong compensation package with an RRSP matching program (currently up to 4% for permanent employees).Iconic projects Be part of major linear infrastructure projects that shape Canadas future.Day-one coverage Comprehensive group benefits start on your first day (for permanent roles working 20+ hours per week).Wellbeing support Access to our Employee and Family Assistance Program whenever you need it.Work-life balance We actively encourage a healthy balance between work and personal life.Time to recharge Vacation entitlement: 35 weeks annually, based on experience and in accordance with company policy and applicable employment standards.Grow with us Tailored training and development opportunities to advance your career.Extra perks Enjoy discounts like 20% off at GoodLife Fitness (currently available to Ontario employees through our group benefits provider, subject to change).At Webuild, we believe diverse perspectives drive innovation, strengthen teams, and lead to better outcomes.
