They specialize in supply staffing as well as temporary and full-time placements within the childcare industry. The organization currently operates across the GTHA and Ottawa, supporting over 500 childcare centres and employing more than 600 childcare assistants and RECEs (Educators). Their administrative team works closely with childcare centres to connect them with the right supply staff during times of need, including same-day requests through a user-friendly platform via website, phone, email, or text. The Role We are seeking a Part-Time Account Executive Sales to expand the organizations presence in the Ottawa market. This role focuses on generating new childcare centre partnerships, building strong local relationships, and positioning the organization as a trusted staffing partner within the childcare community. The Account Executive will prospect, present services, and close new business. This role averages 2025 hours per week , is primarily remote, and involves outreach via phone, video conferencing, and email. Occasional in-person visits to childcare centres and attendance at local events are required. Success Profile As a trusted partner and ambassador, the successful candidate will drive new business growth and referrals across the Ottawa region. This individual will own the full sales processfrom prospecting and outreach to presentations, closing, and onboardingwhile maintaining a consultative, relationship-focused approach. The role requires inspiring confidence and trust among childcare leaders while aligning with organizational values. Duties and Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities with childcare centres across Ottawa Set and achieve weekly activity goals (calls, meetings, outreach) Represent the organization at local tradeshows, association meetings, and networking events Share market insights and competitor activity with leadership Sales Process & Execution Prospect childcare centres through calls, emails, and networking to build a sales pipeline Conduct consultative sales meetings to understand client needs and present solutions Deliver presentations that clearly communicate the staffing value proposition Close new business and ensure smooth onboarding prior to handoff to Client Care Act in alignment with organizational values and culture Collaborate effectively with Client Care, Operations, Marketing, HR, and leadership Participate in daily huddles, 1:1 coaching sessions, monthly meetings, and required team cadences Support additional projects and responsibilities as needed Reporting & Documentation Complete and submit weekly activity reports Maintain accurate and timely CRM updates, including calls, meetings, and tasks Track and update pipeline activity, prospect details, and competitor information Qualifications & Role Requirements College diploma or university degree preferred RECE designation is an asset Minimum 1 year of sales or business development experience (experience in staffing, childcare, or education is an advantage) Proven ability to prospect, present, and close business Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check upon hire Access to reliable transportation for occasional in-person visits and events Core Competencies Customer Focus Growth and Learning Mindset Results Orientation & Accountability Clear and Compelling Communication Business Acumen Partnership Building Digital Literacy Personal Attributes Demonstrates the highest level of integrity and trustworthiness Highly driven, accountable, and self-motivated Hands-on with a willingness to roll up sleeves Curious about data, trends, business, and processes Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a growing organization Values feedback and continuous development Represents the organization professionally at all times Confident communicator who is comfortable picking up the phone or visiting childcare centres in person If youre looking to join a supportive and innovative team culture, wed love to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
