We are seeking a highly skilled Murex Performance Analyst to ensure the performance, scalability, and stability of the Murex MX.3 platform in a dynamic trading and risk environment. This position serves as a technical authority, driving analysis and optimization across Front Office, Risk, and Back Office workflows. New Role The recruiting efforts for this position are intended to fill an existing vacancy for a new position. Responsibilities Oversee the endtoend performance and stability of the Murex MX.3 platform Lead strategic optimization and tuning initiatives for the platform Conduct detailed performance analysis of EOD/SOD processing and batch frameworks Collaborate with infrastructure, database, DevOps, and functional Murex teams to address performance bottlenecks Ensure efficient risk and pricing calculations using advanced frameworks Optimize grid and calculation distribution models for high availability Implement and maintain effective monitoring and diagnostic tools Manage performance tuning across Oracle, Sybase, or equivalent database systems Troubleshoot JVM performance issues and implement necessary configurations Requirements 7+ years of experience in Murex MX.3 with a strong focus on performance Expertise in Murex EOD/SOD architecture, workflows, schedulers, and batch dependency chains Advanced SQL performance tuning in databases such as Oracle or Sybase Proficiency in Unix/Linux administration and shell scripting Understanding of JVM tuning and troubleshooting Familiarity with monitoring and diagnostic tools for system performance Background in handling large market data volumes We offer Extended Healthcare with Prescription Drugs, Dental and Vision, and Healthcare Spending Account (Company Paid) Life and AD&D Insurance (Company Paid) Employee Assistance Program (Company Paid) Telehealth (Company Paid) Shortterm Disability (Company Paid) LongTerm Disability Paid Time Off (including vacation and sick days) Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) with Company match Maternity/Parental/Adoption Leave Topup Employee Stock Purchase Program Critical Illness Insurance Employee Discounts Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions EPAM is a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and development services. Engineer the Future with a Career at EPAM (posting includes a base salary range EPAM Canada would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, training, the demand for the role, skillset, and overall business and local labour market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: CA$90,000 - CA$140,000.
