Overview The Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position as: Competition Code: 2601 106S FIN Apr 29 Responsibilities Reporting to the Coordinator for GDI Finance, the Accounting Clerk will be responsible for maintaining records for accounting functions and assisting with audits; keeping up-to-date and accurate data of clients, students, vendors, and customers within the Great Plains Accounting System; ensuring quality client service; entering client funding packages and amendments including assisting with the processing of student payroll; the accurate entering and processing of vendor and customer invoices in both the accounts payable and accounts receivable areas of the department; processing vendor payments and customer receipts in a timely manner; and other duties as assigned.
