(SGGG-FSI) is currently seeking to fill a full-time permanent position for the role of Senior Trust Banking Officer. The successful candidate will join SGGG-FSIs Investor Services department, will be energetic, enthusiastic and reliable, and will have the opportunity to learn and grow with our organization. The role involves providing backoffice administration and support to investment fund managers by making wire payments, EFTs, and reconciling account statements. The successful candidate will have an interest in financial services, strong communication skills experience using Microsoft Excel, and share the values of teamwork and customer service. Duties Preparing and reviewing daily reconciliations of trust accounts, investigating and following up on breaks for complex/higher volume accounts. Producing and delivering Diamond settlement reports for complex transaction clients or preparing manual calculations when settlement reports are not available. Administering and reconciling bank accounts related to trade settlements. Preparing or reviewing wire/EFT payments for trade settlement, invoice processing, distribution reports, etc. Processing transactions and payments from various clients bank accounts, receiving and recording investment income and disbursement of investment funds. Preparing or reviewing and issuing cheques for invoice processing, trade processing, and other payments. Proactively investigating settlement discrepancies, suggesting resolutions internally, and communicating to clients for complex/higher volume accounts. Monitoring the Trust Banking inbox and actioning or delegating messages to entry level staff. Saving and providing monthly statements to clients and fund valuators per assigned distribution list. Working within departments/clients of SGGG-FSI to resolve questions about money movements between funds. Quality Control of bank info to Diamond. Train staff on SGGG FSI Trust Banking operations. Performing any other reasonable duties as requested by leadership/management. Requirements A bachelors degree in business administration, commerce, economics or a related field is required. 1+ year as a trust banking officer - or 3 years of professional experience in wire payments processing/reconciliation in a mutual funds or a similar environment is required. Clear and fluent communication skills (written, verbal). Comfortable with intermediate math calculations (example: prorating, adding tax, compound interest, etc.) Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients, coworkers, etc. Previous completion of AntiMoney Laundering (AML) training. Strong time management skills and attention to detail. Prior experience with Fundserv. Willingness to learn and teach others.
