The Team The Centralized Market Data team is responsible for delivering financial market data (e.g., Equities, Fixed Income) to trading and risk management solutions within the Bank. The successful candidate will join a highly skilled group focused on extracting, integrating, and optimizing financial data feeds for the Asset Control Platform. The Role We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst Specialist who will immediately contribute to strategic initiatives by bridging business requirements and technical solutions. The analyst will collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure the effective delivery of businesscritical market data solutions. This role involves driving process improvements, gathering and documenting requirements, and supporting the team in delivering highquality, compliant data management systems. Responsibilities Quickly assess and understand business processes and data needs for market data ingestion, transformation, and delivery. Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to document business, functional, and nonfunctional requirements for data integration projects. Translate complex business requirements into detailed specifications for developers, ensuring alignment with regulatory and organizational standards. Collaborate on the design and enhancement of data models and loaders within the Asset Control Platform. Develop and maintain process flows, documentation, and data dictionaries for all market data and related systems. Work closely with vendors (Bloomberg, Reuters/Datascope, ADP) to validate data feeds and resolve issues. Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions for process and system improvements. Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring all deliverables meet business expectations and compliance requirements. Monitor and report on data quality, collaborating with technical teams to resolve defects quickly. Support production implementations, including change management and postdeployment reviews. Facilitate training and provide ongoing support for users at all levels. Skills Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in financial market data environments, with a proven ability to deliver results from day one. Strong background in enterprise data management solutions (e.g., Asset Control, GoldenSource, IHS Markit/S&P Global, Xenomorph). Expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, process mapping, and data analysis for banking, trading, or risk management systems. Proficiency with data warehouse concepts, ETL processes, and integration of vendor data feeds. Solid understanding of market data vendors and feeds (Bloomberg, Reuters/Datascope). Ability to develop and execute test cases for data quality and system functionality. Attention to detail and ability to provide rapid feedback on dashboards and reports. Experience working in Agile and Waterfall SDLC environments. Knowledge of databases, data modelling, and business process design. Familiarity with REST APIs and integration concepts is an asset. Experience supporting production deployments and providing postimplementation support. Knowledge of banking and risk management systems is preferred. What's in it for you?
