Active Reliability Clearance Required Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Scheduler to support complex project environments within a federal government setting. This role is critical in ensuring accurate planning, scheduling, and tracking of project activities, while supporting Project Managers and PMO leadership in delivering successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and support detailed project schedules using enterprise scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project Server) Create and update schedules outlining all project activities, timelines, and dependencies Conduct critical path analysis to identify key risks and schedule impacts Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) in collaboration with Project Managers Maintain and update a master integrated schedule, tracking progress across multiple projects Analyze schedule performance, including impacts of delays or early completion Produce reports and highlight scheduling risks, conflicts, and dependencies Collaborate with Technical Authorities to validate inputs and complete resource-loaded schedules Identify resource gaps, conflicts, and interdependencies, and recommend mitigation strategies Monitor project progress including schedule and cost controls Support project estimation activities by contributing to timelines, milestones, and work plans Review existing project documentation and schedules to identify gaps and inconsistencies Assist Project Managers in resolving scheduling issues and proposing actionable solutions Document schedule-related issues, risks, and resolutions, and provide regular updates Provide planning advice and support to the PMO Lead and project teams to ensure proper project setup and execution
