Position SummaryNOIC ACADEMY is seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time After-School Program Teacher/ Tutor (Grade 18). This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about working with children and capable of teaching a variety of subjects in an engaging and structured manner.Key Responsibilities:Teach one or more of the following subjects: English: Writing, Reading, Drama, Vocabulary Mathematics: Mathematical Thinking, Singapore Math, Logic Games, Chinese (Peoples Education Press) Math Science & Technology: Introductory Science Experiments, Basic Programming Physical Education: Basketball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Ball Games, Dodgeball Chinese: Chinese (Peoples Education Press) Curriculum SSAT Preparation: Math and English Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials Monitor student progress and provide feedback when needed Maintain a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment Preferred Qualifications:Familiarity with gifted program applications and/or IB entrance assessments is an asset Prior experience teaching or tutoring students (Grade 18) Ability to teach multiple subjects is strongly preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Bilingual (English & Mandarin) is an asset Education & Experience:Bachelors degree or currently pursuing a degree (Education or related field preferred) Relevant teaching or tutoring experience is an asset
