A well-established food manufacturing partner is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance activities, drive equipment reliability, and support safety initiatives. Position Highlights:Monday to Friday, Day Shift *flexibility required. $115K$125K base salary (commensurate with experience)Bonus + Overtime availableBenefits starting Day 13 weeks vacationWork in a collaborative, safety-driven, and growth-focused environment Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff (Level 1-5, Stationary Engineers Class 2 & 4).Mentor technicians and operators, ensuring efficient troubleshooting of mechanical, refrigeration, and electrical issues.Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on critical equipment (boilers, refrigeration, rendering machinery).Oversee the preventive maintenance program and ensure compliance with safety and food safety standards (CFIA, GMP, HACCP).Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and manage inventory.Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OHSA and WHMIS regulations.Collaborate with production teams to minimize disruptions and resolve equipment-related issues. Qualifications:5+ years of experience in maintenance management in a food manufacturing environment. Experience with refrigeration systems, boilers, and centrifugal equipment (e.g., rendering equipment, pumps, conveyors) an asset. Refrigeration B Ticket (preferred), Ontario Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (433A) Certificate (asset).Strong mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of PLC programming, food safety, and regulatory standards (CFIA, GMP, HACCP, OHSA, WHMIS).Tow Motor License (preferred).
