Field Casualty Claims AdjusterLocation: Ontario, Canada (Remote but has to be open to traveling different locations across the Ontario area but primarily in the GTA)Up to 20% travelSalary:$ 115,000 - 125,000Our client, a well-established global legal and insurance services organization, is seeking a Casualty Claims Adjuster to join their independent adjusting team in Canada. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced claims professional with a strong background in casualty and liability claims who is looking to join a collaborative, client-focused environment.This role will be responsible for investigating, reporting on, and managing a caseload of insurance claims through to resolution, while ensuring a high standard of service delivery and compliance with client service level agreements.Key ResponsibilitiesInvestigate and manage a caseload of casualty and liability insurance claimsPrepare detailed reports and provide timely updates throughout the life of each claimProgress claims to effective and satisfactory resolution for clientsDeliver a high level of service to both internal and external stakeholdersMaintain accurate management information and documentation in accordance with client service level agreementsAreas of ExpertiseThe ideal candidate will have experience handling claims in several of the following areas:Commercial General LiabilityConstruction Claims, including:Builders Risk / Course of ConstructionWrap-Up LiabilityProfessional LiabilityEnvironmental LiabilityEquine LiabilityMedical MalpracticeQualifications5+ years of adjusting experience, or 78 years of casualty claims examining experiencePrior Independent Adjusters License, or completion of the required courses to obtain a Probationary License in OntarioStrong organizational and time management skillsFlexible, solutions-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities effectivelyProfessional, articulate, and energetic communication styleTeam-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to client servicePreferred QualificationsUniversity degree or college diplomaCIP / FCIP designation completed or in progress is considered an asset
