We are seeking an HR Director to join a longestablished, familyrun Canadian organization operating across construction, development, and industrial services.This is not a traditional corporate HR job. You will build trust, uplift morale, modernize HR practices, and act as a strategic advisor to leadership, all while staying closely connected to people on the ground.People & Culture LeaderThis is a handson leadership role for someone who wants to shape culture, strengthen performance, and elevate the employee experience in a growing, operationally driven organization. This is a standalone role. What Youll DoOwn and elevate the endtoend employee experience.Build a hightrust, accountable, peoplefirst culture.Coach leaders on performance, feedback, and team development.Lead recruitment through generational change and future growth.Strengthen hiring to focus on impact, fit, and longterm potential.Bring structure to performance reviews, development, and succession.Simplify and standardize HR processes where they add real value.Partner with Finance on payroll and leverage Dayforce for insight and efficiency.Stay visible and present in the field this role is not deskbound.What You BringFullcycle HR experience in a smalltomidsize or standalone environment.Experience in construction, real estate, or operational industries is a strong asset.Proven ability to build HR foundations without overengineering.Strong culturebuilding, engagement, and change leadership skills.Required: handson Dayforce experience and solid Microsoft 365 skills.How You ThinkSolutionoriented.
