This position serves as a central point of coordination for HSE data, systems, and administrative processes, helping ensure regulatory compliance, accurate reporting, and consistent safety practices. By enabling strong systems, reliable data, and effective communication, this role directly contributes to building and sustaining a strong safety culture across the organization.ResponsibilitiesAdminister and maintain HSE management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Velocity or equivalent) to ensure they are accurate, current, and aligned with operational needsMaintain complete and accurate HSE records, including incident reports, audits, inspections, corrective actions, and compliance documentationGenerate and distribute regular HSE reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support leadership decision-makingCoordinate incident and hazard reporting processes, including supporting investigations and ensuring timely closeout of actionsSupport the implementation and communication of HSE policies, procedures, and programs across the siteTrack compliance with safety training, permits, licenses, and legal requirements, maintaining up-to-date training matricesCoordinate HSE onboarding, inductions, and system access for new employeesSupport internal and external audits and inspections by preparing documentation and coordinating logisticsAssist with toolbox talks, safety alerts, and other HSE communications in collaboration with site and corporate stakeholdersParticipate in HSE meetings, initiatives, and continuous improvement projects to enhance system efficiency and user engagementSupport change management activities related to updates in HSE systems or processesPerform other related duties as assignedQualificationsDiploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Studies, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in a Health, Safety, and Environmental role, preferably within an industrial manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of Ontario Health & Safety legislation, applicable regulations, and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001)Experience using HSE management or incident reporting systems (e.g., SharePoint, Velocity EHS or similar)Strong data management, reporting, and Microsoft Excel skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesEffective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels of the organizationComfortable working in both office and manufacturing environmentsThe Salary Range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 annually CAD. The provided range represents the anticipated base salary and target incentive for this position. The final total compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate's skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
