Buckland strives to provide customized services in a memorable way.Buckland is looking for a Business Intelligence Report DeveloperWhat youll be doingThis role will focus on the design, development, and delivery of reports and dashboards to support strategic and operational decision-making across the organization. Working closely with Business Analysts, Data Architects and stakeholders across the business, the Business Intelligence Report Developer will transform data into meaningful visualizations and insights, leveraging both SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI.What we can offer youCompetitive, benefits package, and matching retirement savings planCompensation range: $60,000$73,000 annually (subject to experience)A friendly, collaborative work environmentOpportunities for professional development & ongoing learning.A chance to be part of a growing organizationRemote work arrangement available for applicants who are not local to a Buckland officeYou will be responsible forDesign, develop, deploy, and maintain reports and dashboards using SSRS and Power BIInterpret business requirements and translate them into technical reporting specificationsOptimize SQL queries and data sources to ensure high-performing reports and dashboardsPartner with Business Analysts and stakeholders to identify reporting needs and provide data-driven insightsMaintain and improve existing reports and reporting frameworks, ensuring accuracy and consistencyDevelop documentation for data models, report logic, and technical specificationsConduct unit testing and peer reviews for report quality assurance.Support data validation and reconciliation effortsStay current with BI tools, techniques, and best practices.Other duties as assignedWhat we need from youBachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience25 years of handson experience with SSRS and Power BI in enterprise environmentsStrong SQL skills and experience working with Microsoft SQL Server (2016+)Experience in developing paginated reports and dashboards based on complex data modelsFamiliarity with data warehousing principles and dimensional modelingStrong troubleshooting, problemsolving, and documentation skillsAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical audiencesExperience in customs brokerage, logistics, or supply chain is an asset.Knowledge of GIT, SQL Server performance tuning, or analytics languages (e.g., R, Python) is a plusBilingual an asset (fluent in both Spanish/English)Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all timesValid Passport and ability to occasionally travel if required to other offices locations in CAD/USA/MEXWant to apply?
