OverviewA Field Service Project Manager is sought to support the regions Long Term Planning (LTP) projects on the European fleet of industrial steam turbines and generators. The Project Manager will help sell the plan and coordinate and manage field operations projects both on-site and remotely, as applicable.How Youll Make An ImpactServe as the single point of contact for each assigned LTP project on behalf of Siemens Energy.Assist in developing technical and commercial proposals for maintenance overhauls.Negotiate and communicate with customer personnel for on-time delivery of Extra Work Authorizations and Project Change Orders.Coordinate and manage various aspects of the project business, including parts, technical field service support, tooling, procurement, shipping, and 3rd party services.Develop and maintain a robust relationship with customers by continuously demonstrating the effectiveness of a managed approach to field service projects.Develop and manage project execution schedules.Directly manage the assigned field service project contracts to ensure costs are minimized and margin is in line with project expectations.Work remotely between projects, as required.What You BringMust have a High School Diploma or GED that can be verified; a Bachelors degree in a technical field is preferred.3+ years of field experience on European Steam Turbines is preferred.Proficiency in MS Office applications.Strong English language skills, both verbal and written; additional language skills are a plus.A Global approach with the ability to work with teams around the world and a strong intercultural sensitivity.Ability to work independently in a multicultural environment and demonstrate ownership of tasks.A positive, can-do attitude and ability to work in an environment with competing demands, which require prioritization of activities.Must be willing to travel up to 70% including 4 to 5 weeks on larger projects.Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in Canada without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
