As an RRT here, you'll enjoy a balanced work-life schedule, strong mentorship, and a chance to make a daily impact on the lives of patients.About the Cardiorespiratory Department:Our department offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic services, including:Ambulatory Blood Pressure & Holter MonitoringCardiac Stress TestingElectrocardiograms (ECG)Pulmonary Function Testing (Body Box)Pulse OximetryProviding support, education and consulting for cardiorespiratory care for inpatients, OB and ER.Youll play a key role in supporting our patients respiratory and cardiac health through handson procedures, expert analysis, and compassionate care.Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy programCurrent registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of OntarioMember in good standing with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapy or the Respiratory Therapy Society of OntarioCurrent certification in BCLS, NRP and ACLSRequired Skills:Ability to work independently and as a team memberMaintain an effective working relationship with patients, physicians, hospital staff and the publicDemonstrate initiative and good judgment in problem solving and identifying opportunities for actionExcellent verbal, written and facilitative computer skillsProven organizational, analytical service orientationFlexibility and adaptabilityAbility to prepare correspondence and reportsAbility to analyze and interpret test resultsAbility to communicate changes to other staffConsistently meets attendance expectations, demonstrating reliability and commitment to scheduled shiftsThe above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job.
