We are hiring a Area Administrator - Full Time The Area Administrator develops, coordinates and directs the overall operations of CLDs programs which includes ensuring the wellbeing of the people supported. The position provides leadership and direction consistent with Community Living Dufferins mission, vision and values, the strategic plan and relevant legislation and regulation. Key Responsibilities include: The specific purpose of the position is to oversee strategies, tactics, and processes for managing the materials, technologies, people, and services that keep the agency functional. Coaching, guiding and mentoring of staff for the ongoing performance evaluation in applicable programs. Set goals and objectives with staff and identify training needs as necessary. Responsible for the overall delivery of a range of services and supports from residential to nonresidential. Oversees projects, including developing schedules, sourcing thirdparty service providers, and managing the employees responsible for executing particular projects. Addresses and ensures consistency of service quality towards people supported. Ensures services are delivered consistently and in accordance with agencys policies and procedures. Involved in operational planning, monitoring, and analysis. Helps to make sure service delivery decisions align with CLDs business goals. Work closely with the finance department on expenditure management decisions, financial monitoring, variance analysis and annual budget development. Identifies, evaluates, prioritises, and mitigates risks in the areas of both the overall delivery of services and individuals in receipt of supports. Educational and Job Requirements: Social Services diploma or degree/equivalent or two years of postsecondary education in a relevant discipline. Management certificate or related course(s). A minimum of five years experience in supervision/management in the developmental services field. Is familiar with, Reg. 299/10 Quality Assurance Measures, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and other applicable legislation. Ability to interpret and implement the agencys collective agreement. Computer skills including Microsoft suites, the internet and browsers. Mature, reliable, selfmotivated, flexible and demonstrates sound judgment. Must have a valid drivers license, proof of insurance and own vehicle. Must have a clear vulnerable sector check. Fulltime 40 hours per week. Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Workload is subject to change. Why work at Community Living Dufferin?
