With a focus on long-term tenant relationships and operational excellence, this organization offers a stable environment where employees are supported, valued, and given the opportunity to grow.This is a rare opportunity to join a high profile portfolio where turnover is extremely low and team members take pride in their balanced and supportive work environment.About the RoleReporting directly to the Property Manager, the Assistant Property Manager will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of a single, large commercial asset with a unique tenant profile.This position is ideal for someone currently in an Assistant Property Manager role or a strong Property Administrator ready to step into a more senior, leadership-track position. You will have the opportunity to stretch into a Junior Property Manager capacity, including stepping in to support the Property Manager when needed.Working on-site alongside a collaborative team that includes a Property Manager, Property Administrator, and Property Services Coordinator, you will contribute to both operational and financial performance while building strong tenant relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Property Manager to ensure efficient and cost-effective operation of the portfolio in line with budgets and company standardsSupport lease administration including interpretation, documentation, and sub-lease preparationAssist with contract administration, including preparing RFPs, managing vendor agreements, and ensuring compliance with procurement policiesSupport budgeting, accruals, and monthly financial reportingBuild and maintain strong tenant relationships, responding to inquiries and supporting issue resolutionConduct regular property inspections and support annual building inspectionsAssist with tenant improvements and capital projects in collaboration with internal teamsManage purchase orders and invoice approvals within authorized limits (Yardi)Support leasing efforts and contribute to occupancy goalsCoordinate operational and safety initiatives, including emergency procedures and reportingStep into a leadership capacity and support team operations in the absence of the Property ManagerQualifications & Requirements3+ years of commercial property management experience (Assistant Property Manager or similar) or 5+ years as a strong Property Administrator ready to step upExperience with lease administration, contract preparation, and tenant communicationExposure to budgeting, accruals, and financial reportingExperience preparing RFPs and managing vendor contracts is an assetHighly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesProactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to both take direction and lead when neededStrong communication and interpersonal skillsNo license requiredCompensation & Benefits3 weeks vacation7 sick daysComprehensive benefits package RRSP Matching ProgramStrong emphasis on work-life balance with consistent working hoursSupportive leadership and team environmentOpportunity to work on a high-profile, stable portfolio with long-term growthHow to ApplyTo apply, please submit your resume directly through this job posting or email it to .We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
