Our client is looking for a UX Researcher to join our team on a long term contract, working onsite in downtown Toronto 4 days per week. The rate range will be $50-55 per hour, t4. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the end to end consumer banking journey, helping us understand customer needs, uncover friction points, and guide product decisions with evidence based insights.This is an opportunity to influence a high visibility initiative that impacts millions of customers, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and cross functional partners.What You Will DoPlan, design, and execute mixed methods research (qualitative and quantitative) across the consumer banking journey.Conduct user interviews, usability testing, diary studies, concept evaluations, and field research.Analyze and synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights that influence product strategy and design decisions.Partner with product, design, analytics, and business stakeholders to identify research needs and prioritize opportunities.Map customer behaviors, motivations, and pain points across complex financial workflows.Communicate insights through compelling presentations, journey maps, frameworks, and storytelling.Advocate for the voice of the customer and help foster a research driven culture within the team.Support ongoing discovery and iterative testing as the product evolves.What You Bring3-5+ years of UX research experience (agency, in house, or consulting).FI or Insurance or Fintech experience is a great to have.Strong command of qualitative methods; familiarity with quantitative methods is a plus.A portfolio to showcase your work
