Operations Coordinator Huey Lightshop Thornbury, Ontario The Operations Coordinator plays a central role in the daily rhythm of Huey Lightshop, supporting the flow of production and ensuring each piece moves through the studio with care and intention. Working closely with the Shop Lead and production team, this role helps guide orders from creation to completionbalancing timelines, priorities, and the natural pace of handmade work. The Operations Coordinator also leads all outward communication, acting as a thoughtful and responsive point of contact for customers, trade partners, and collaborators. This is a dynamic, detail-oriented role suited to someone who enjoys bringing structure to moving parts, values clear communication, and is excited to be part of a small, design-driven studio. What Youll Do Support Studio Production Coordinate weekly production priorities to ensure orders are completed on time and with care Work closely with the team to maintain a steady, well-paced studio workflow Anticipate needs and help remove roadblocks to keep production moving smoothly Oversee daily shipping and order fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Lead Customer Experience Manage customer inquiries with timely, thoughtful, and solutions-oriented communication Support custom orders, trade requests, and partnerships from initial outreach through completion Act as a warm, professional voice of the brand across all external touchpoints Support Growth & Partnerships Assist in coordinating special projects and collaborations Help build relationships with designers, boutiques, and hospitality spaces aligned with Hueys aesthetic Contribute to ongoing improvements in how the studio operates and communicates Who You Are Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a natural ability to prioritize A clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal Comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities in a fast-moving environment Proactive, thoughtful, and solution-focused Interested in interior design, craft, and the behind-the-scenes of a product-based business Why Huey Huey Lightshop is a made-to-order lighting studio based in the Blue Mountains, where each piece is crafted by hand in our workshop.
