With deep expertise in design, development, manufacturing, and commissioning, we deliver innovative solutions that support the safe and responsible advancement of the nuclear sector.We are a dynamic and collaborative team seeking a driven professional who shares our values and brings a practical, results-oriented approach to help move our organization forward.Salary Range: $75,000 $85,000 (commensurate with experience)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced QHSE Supervisor to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality, health & safety, and environmental programs across our operations.This role is critical in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining ISO-certified systems, and fostering a strong culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility.Key ResponsibilitiesQualitySupervise and support team members across multiple operational areasEnsure compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and nuclear regulatory requirements (e.g., CNSC)Conduct inspections, audits, and quality investigations within decontamination and RPPE production processesMaintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and document control processesLead root cause analysis, non-conformance investigations, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)Support internal and external audits, including client and regulatory inspectionsTrain and mentor staff on quality processes, procedures, and standardsMaintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Support supplier quality programs and ensure documentation complianceOversee calibration and maintenance of process equipmentPrepare and report on monthly quality KPIsHealth & SafetyMaintain ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System across the facilityDevelop, implement, and continuously improve the Health & Safety ProgramPromote safety awareness and ensure compliance across all levels of the organizationDevelop and deliver safety training programs and onboarding for new hiresConduct annual program reviews and internal auditsSupport Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) meetings and initiativesInvestigate incidents, injuries, and near misses; recommend corrective actionsTrack and report safety metrics, including injuries and lost-time hoursInterpret and apply relevant safety standards, codes, and regulationsEnvironmentalMaintain ISO 14001 Environmental Management SystemMonitor environmental programs, policies, and compliance requirementsConduct environmental inspections, observations, and testingOversee hazardous materials and waste storage complianceSupport environmental training and awareness across the organizationMaintain records to ensure compliance with environmental legislationConduct environmental audits and identify improvement opportunitiesReview incident investigations to ensure root cause identification and corrective action implementationQualifications & RequirementsPost-secondary education (College or University) in a relevant field; Occupational Health & Safety Certificate preferredMinimum 5 years of experience in a QHSE Coordinator or Supervisor roleMinimum 2 years of experience within the nuclear industryStrong knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or equivalent)Experience in manufacturing and/or nuclear environmentsSolid understanding of auditing, inspection, and risk assessment methodologiesStrong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulationsExcellent communication and training delivery skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesProven leadership skills with the ability to influence and promote a culture of safetyHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
