This is a hands-on leadership role focused on day-to-day plant operations, team supervision, and driving the improvements needed to bring the facility to full operational capability. Plant Manager Key DetailsCompetitive salarySchedule: Full-time, permanentLocation: North Battleford, SKVacation: Paid time off Plant Manager ResponsibilitiesOversee daily plant operations including production, cleaning, sizing, splitting, loading/unloading, and maintenance, ensuring food safety and quality standards are consistently metIdentify operational issues and implement practical solutions to improve plant efficiency and outputSupervise and support plant staff, ensuring adherence to safety standards, company policies, and applicable legislationManage grain specifications, receiving standards, and equipment performance for cleaning and splitting operationsSupport maintenance activities to minimize downtime and keep equipment running reliablyFoster a positive team environment that supports safety, accountability, and continuous improvementAssist with budget tracking and cost management within the processing departmentMonitor plant performance and contribute to reporting, planning, and process improvement initiativesBuild and maintain working relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and customersWork closely with management to align day-to-day operations with company goals and standards Plant Manager QualificationsPost-secondary education in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience5+ years of experience in a plant, processing, or manufacturing environment, including some supervisory or leadership responsibilityExperience in food manufacturing, agri-food, or a regulated processing environment is an assetFamiliarity with safety regulations and food safety standardsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsSolid communication and team leadership abilitiesComfortable tracking budgets and contributing to cost managementProficiency in relevant software for maintenance planning and documentationLean Six Sigma certification is an asset.Electrical certifications (433A, 442A, or 309A) are considered an asset
