Canadian Executive Search is seeking a qualified Maintenance Supervisor for our client in Windsor! As Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the daily maintenance operations within a manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal equipment performance, reduced downtime, and support for ongoing continuous improvement efforts. This position requires strong technical knowledge, effective leadership skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Lead, schedule, and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to ensure safe and efficient operation of all plant equipment Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues in collaboration with maintenance technicians and production teams Ensure adherence to health, safety, and food safety regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures Maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts inventory Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives Provide technical leadership, training, and mentorship to maintenance staff Collaborate closely with production leadership and management to support operational objectives Qualifications 35 years of supervisory or leadership experience within a unionized environment; experience in food manufacturing or a related industry is preferred Millwright, Electrician, or related trade certification considered an asset Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, and/or automation systems Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) Demonstrated success in implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities Strong commitment to workplace safety and food safety standards Why Join This Opportunity?
