About This Role Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, located at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is currently recruiting a fulltime PrePlanning Sales Representative to join our Sales Office. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and providing funeral and cemetery preplanning by contacting and meeting clients to prearrange their funerals and discussing prearranging cemetery products and services in the community. We are looking to fill this position with a qualified, actionoriented and selfmotivated individual who is capable of prioritizing and handling multiple demands simultaneously. Key Qualifications and Demonstrated Abilities Registration in or completion of funeral preplanning and cemetery preplanning courses in an accredited postsecondary institution would be considered an asset. Passion for customer care demonstrated in previous professional experiences and a strong discipline for working in a customercentric service organization. Experience in business development, sales and customer success is an asset. Willing to demonstrate active community involvement and establish a positive profile of the cemetery and funeral home within the community. Highly focused on achieving and exceeding sales results and ensuring full compliance of all federal and provincial regulatory requirements. Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships with Cemetery Operations, Funeral and Home Office Centres of Excellence to achieve company revenue goals and objectives. Responsibilities Working with various lead sources, contacting and visiting client families to assess prearrangement needs. Communicating the Companys PreNeed Funeral planning program. Generating lead sources by following up on all referrals, walkins and mail drops, working with atneed families to promote the aftercare program. Presenting to community organizations, arranging and hosting seminars and mall shows, notifying agencies and special groups about the preneed funeral program and reviewing all files. Establishing and organizing programs and seminars at the funeral home, with guest speakers and arranging cosponsors of the seminars and programs. Ensuring all contracts are accurately completed, required signatures are obtained, copies are forwarded to appropriate parties and that files are maintained. Participating in funeral home and cemetery staff and management meetings, communicating regularly with all funeral home and cemetery staff to obtain and provide information on the families served or new lead sources.
