Job Description

We are currently seeking a Spanish as a Foreign Language (SLE) Teacher to join our academic team in Toronto, Canada. This is an excellent opportunity to teach within a diverse, multicultural environment while supporting students to achieve strong language outcomes through engaging and effective instruction.ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Spanish as a Foreign Language (SLE) Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering enjoyable, wellstructured lessons that maximise learner outcomes. You may teach a range of levels depending on your experience and qualifications. In addition to teaching, you may also support assessment, material development, and wider academic or social programme activities as part of the English Path centre.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Plan, deliver and assess Spanish language lessons aligned with course objectives and learner needsEnsure learning outcomes are met through effective teaching and assessmentMaintain accurate student attendance records and academic administrationDevelop, update and improve teaching materials where requiredUse a variety of teaching methods and classroom technologyAttend academic meetings and work closely with the Centre and Academic ManagerParticipate in professional development sessionsUndertake additional duties to support the wider work of English Path Language SchoolsESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Teaching licence or recognised qualification in Spanish or languages Bachelors degree in any subject (Education or Spanish preferred) Experience teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language Structured and creative approach to lesson planning Experience teaching in both inperson and online environments Confident use of classroom technology Professional, organised and studentfocused approach Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse learners Positive, flexible and collaborative team playerOTHER INFORMATION:The SLE Teacher will also be expected to demonstrate their commitment:To English Path values and regulations, including equal opportunities policy.To English Paths Social, Economic and Environmental responsibilities and minimize environmental impact in the performance of the role and actively contribute to the delivery of English Paths Environmental Policy.To their Health and Safety responsibilities to ensure their contribution to a safe and secure working environment for staff, students, and other visitors to the campus.Why Join English Path?Youll become part of a global academic community committed to transforming lives through language learning and cultural connection.
