Westridge Construction is looking to add an experienced Superintendent to our team. This is a full-time position reporting to the General Superintendent. We are open to candidates with a range of experience levels, from developing Superintendents to those capable of leading large, complex projects. What Youll Do - Oversee day-to-day site operations on one or multiple construction projects - Lead projects of varying size and complexity (approximately $0 $100M+) depending on experience - Ensure site safety standards are met in collaboration with safety personnel - Coordinate and manage site setup (utilities, offices, access, hoarding, material handling, etc.) - Lead weekly planning meetings and support project scheduling - Work closely with Project Managers and Coordinators on execution and methodology - Coordinate labour requirements with HR and Field Services - Supervise and support Foremen, Lead Hands, and field staff (scope dependent on experience) - Manage subcontractors, including contract compliance and site performance - Participate in project meetings (handover, review, pre-bid, etc.) - Contribute to change pricing and monthly project reporting - Maintain accurate project documentation (daily reports, photos, timesheets, etc.) - Support QA/QC processes on site - Track labour productivity and site performance - Manage site equipment, tools, and material procurement - Mentor and develop field staff - Promote teamwork, innovation, and Westridge values - Work out of town as required What You Bring We are open to a range of experience levels. The right candidate will demonstrate many of the following: - 510+ years of construction experience, with increasing responsibility in a Superintendent or leadership role - Proven ability to manage construction sites, with exposure to projects of varying size and complexity - Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and site logistics - Experience supervising crews and coordinating subcontractors - Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents - Solid administrative and organizational skills (reports, timesheets, documentation, etc.) - Proficiency with basic computer tools (Microsoft Office, email, etc.) - Strong communication skills with field staff, subcontractors, consultants, and owners - Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently - Commitment to safety, quality, and team culture - Competitive salary based on experience/qualifications - Company matched pension plan - Full benefits package (100% employer paid) #J-18808-Ljbffr
