Location: Thunder Bay, ON, CA, P7J 1L7 Human Resources Manager, Thunder Bay Sawmill This job is fulltime permanent. What you gain by working with us - Competitive salary and annual bonus incentive plan - At least three weeks of vacation and three floating holidays; dependent on experience - Full range of group insurance from the first day of work - Definedcontribution pension plan with generous employer participation from the first day of work - Employee and family assistance program - Education assistance program - Work Travel Assistance Program - Relocation assistance to the community of Thunder Bay. - A workplace based on respect, diversity, and inclusion Your responsibilities - Provide support to Operations Management & Supervisory group on Labour Relation issues. - Coordinate the recruitment and selection process for Thunder Bay Sawmill. - Lead policy, procedure development and certification programs. - Manage all manpower and scheduling issues for the Thunder Bay Sawmill. - Support operations with progressive work systems and Labor contract management. - Conduct research to assist in grievance resolution. - Communicate with and support payroll. - Assist with management of employee training, development programs, and support on all disability management and returntowork programs. Ideal profile - Bachelor of Human Resources or related field an asset; - 5 to 7 years of equivalent experience. - Ability to work as part of a team, communicate with all levels of the organization and adapt quickly to change. - Solid analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly when information is limited or under pressure. - Excellent project and timemanagement skills with ability to handle multiple priorities. - Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Demonstrated strong facilitation and issue resolution skills. - Understanding of federal and provincial employment laws. - The salary range for this position is CAD $105,000 to $125,000 per year. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
