As a Preowned Equipment Inspector you will deliver exceptional service to our customers and dealerships by evaluating the condition of ag machinery being considered for purchase or trade. In one of Canadas top John Deere dealer organizations you will deliver quality work in a friendly and collaborative environment that encourages learning and growth.ResponsibilitiesManage equipment inspection requests and schedule efficiently according to deadlinesClearly communicate date/time of inspection with all partiesEvaluate and determine reconditioning costs using on site inspection and computer programsPrepare report of equipment including detailed pictures, options, inspection results, and recondition cost estimateCommunicate results of inspection to Sales TeamRequirementsWork independently & in a team environmentWork flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, and holidays if necessarySignificant travel in and out of assigned region with possible overnight staysExtensive technical knowledge and understanding of agriculture equipmentExcellent analytical & interpretive skillsStrong customer service and communication skills (written & verbal)Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.)Valid drivers license & and ability to travel throughout SK, MB & AB3+ years experience in Agriculture industry (Parts, Service, or Precision Ag)Mechanical experience in Agriculture or Heavy-Duty or Journeyperson Ag Tech preferredMinimum Grade 12 or equivalent educationAble to meet all physical requirementsStanding and/or walking for long periods of timeKneeling, squatting, bendingWorking in hot/cold weather conditionsClimbing, crawling, reaching/working overheadPushing/pulling 100lbs, lifting/carrying up to 50lbsDriving for up to 4 hours per dayCONNECT with us today!Whether you're new to this field or experienced in other related fields, we offer continued education and training to help you thrive and expand your knowledge!
