Make A Difference For Those Who Make The World Industrial Account Manager (Alberta) Part of a dedicated team based in Alberta reporting to the Sales Director, National Specialty. Responsibilities Manage, grow, and develop a sales territory with a matrix of distribution customers, supporting and representing the full portfolio of Stanley Black & Decker industrial solution brands. Demonstrate the value of the total product portfolio and services by identifying target opportunities, running product trials, and providing costsavings analysis to customers. Identify enduser applications and recommend costeffective products to improve customers economic efficiency, especially for sawing operations. Provide ongoing sales service support such as sales analysis, inventory control, and promotions. Manage administrative aspects and timely reporting for all territory management areas, including expense management, paperwork, forecasts, gap plans, and upside opportunities. Motivate distributors and keep sales personnel focused on technical services as added value. Create and present valuebased communication methods with distribution and end users. Troubleshoot and resolve enduser problems through minor repairs, alignment, calibration, product performance, and trials to achieve optimum performance. Travel approximately 35% overnight within territory. Qualifications Postsecondary degree or diploma in related field, or 5+ years of equivalent trade experience in a shop environment. 2+ years of direct industrial sales experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Technical and mechanical ability to work with tools and machines. Proficiency with Salesforce.com or other CRM preferred. Demonstrated timemanagement skills and ability to set priorities. Knowledge of hydraulic, electric, pneumatic, and mechanical systems preferable.
