Wigmore Regional Hospital City/Town: Moose Jaw Department: Mental Health Community Clinics&Programs - Adult Clinical Services Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: July 28, 2026 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Hours of Work: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440 Travel Required: No Job Description: Under the direction of the Adult Outpatient Services Manager and working within an interdisciplinary mental health and addiction team, the Community Mental Health Nurse will provide a range of clinical services to adults with mental health and addiction issues and support to their families. The incumbent will also serve as an important link between Intermediate Care Services and the services provided by the Primary Health Care System. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience Familiarity with Adults, Adolescents and Children w/ complex case presentations Min. 2 yrs (post grad) work exp. in community mental health/addiction services Education Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN) Graduate from school of general nursing with training in psychiatric nursing Memberships Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS) Other Education and Training Bachelor of Nursing is acceptable Organizational skills Knowledge and Abilities Knowledge of the diversity of cultures, values and traditions knowledge and skills related to community psychiatric nursing practice Identify, implement and evaluate client difficulty areas Demonstrates leadership abilities Ability to work within a change management model Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team Ability to enter and retrieve data in computer database systems Strong interpersonal skills Highly developed written and oral communication skills Demonstrates critical thinking, problem solving, conflict resolution skills Ability to document in a concise and timely manner Demonstrates knowledge of community services, programs, and resources Provide public education regarding mental health and addiction concerns Knowledge and practical application of the Mental Health Services Act and Health Information Protection Act and other legislation Knowledge in various intervention strategies for individuals and groups Ability to design, initiate and conduct training for other professionals Other Information For more information on the city of Moose Jaw please visit A valid driver''s license and a vehicle is required to carry out duties Can work flexible hours; ability to work shifts based on operational needs.
