Overview The Store Leader is the heart and soul of the store. A Store Leader with an Assistant or two makes up the stores leadership team, executing merchandising and marketing initiatives, driving profitability, developing the skills of the entire store team, and ensuring customers are well taken care of. Responsibilities Lead store operations with an Assistant or two to ensure effective merchandising and marketing execution, profitability, and customer service excellence. Develop the skills of the store team and foster a positive, productive work environment. Collaborate with management to implement training programs and support career growth for team members. What You Bring (Qualifications) Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees. Desire to maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity. Ability to oversee and implement merchandising and marketing programs. Demonstrated ability to use P&L and store reports to affect change. Ability to manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promotion of the rewards loyalty program. Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures to ensure products are in stock and the store presents well. Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills. Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel preferred). High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of retail management experience. Valid Drivers License from the state of residence with ongoing automotive liability insurance during employment. Ability to multi-task, perform repetitive bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
