Responsibilities Ensure client expectations related to project scope are met and exceeded. Establish and maintain positive internal and external stakeholder relationships. Develop project planning documents and client progress reports. Support development of proposals, project cost estimates and project schedules. Coordinate and/or facilitate key meetings or review points: project kickoff meetings, IFR/IFC review, constructability review, construction kickoff, etc., and follow through all action items to completion. Provide proactive project change, risk and stakeholder management support. Act as the primary technical interface for the projects and provide advice and guidance to the engineering disciplines. Ensure procurement packages are produced in accordance with project cost, schedule and quality requirements. Review project documentation and perform Engineer of Record duties (specifications, IFR/IFC drawings, designs, equipment lists, labor estimates, etc.) prior to issue for accuracy, completeness and presentation. Apply proactive and effective communication with key stakeholders. Apply knowledge and expertise acquired through progressive experience to resolve complex issues where precedent may be limited. Provide construction support activities. Travel to the site 1 to 2 days per month as required. Qualifications Registered Professional Engineer or Engineering Licensee. Excellent organizational and communication (written and oral) skills. Genuine team player who encourages teamwork with the project team and other discipline staff. Strong technical and problemsolving skills. Indepth knowledge of overhead and underground distribution systems, streetlight design, capital and maintenance projects, and customer newconnect projects. Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks within each project. High level of initiative and ability to complete tasks on schedule and budget. Ability to challenge specifications and nonoptimal designs and provide valueadded alternatives. Focused on continuous improvement and providing quality services to customers in a timely manner. Knowledge of project management principles and processes. Experience in project controls and scheduling is considered an asset. Working knowledge of applicable industry, national, and provincial codes and standards. Proficiency with SAP, GIS tools, Bluebeam, AGI 32, Pull Planner. Valid Drivers License. Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or a technical school diploma/certificate, with a minimum of 7 years experience. Previous Distribution Design experience with SaskPower or a similar utility within Canada. Pay Transparency In compliance with paytransparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. The final agreed compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Certain roles are bonuseligible. Actual compensation for parttime roles will be prorated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
