Position Functions:Contract approval process managementAssisting with records retention managementAssisting with preparing power point presentations for legal training and complianceLiaising with third parties to gather informationAccurately prepare legal documents and correspondenceOrganizing and expediting flow of work, initiating any follow-up as appropriateWorking proactively in the day-to-day support of Managing Counsel and Law Clerk including file maintenance, reminder system and managing expense reportsUsing initiative and good judgment to relieve Managing Counsel and Law Clerk of administrative tasksOther duties as assigned by professionals Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:3-5 years of experience working in a legal or similar environment Legal or Administrative Diploma / CertificateExcellent computer skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent time management and organizational skills Enthusiastic, proactive, can-do attitude; with the ability to multi-task in response to changing priorities throughout the daySound business judgment including the ability to handle sensitive and confidential informationStrong attention to detail and desire to provide a high degree of accuracy in work productMotivated and resourceful, with the ability to take initiative, work independently and in a team settingEagerness to learn and develop skillsThe following qualifications would be considered an asset:Regulatory / Insurance background Bilingual (English and French) Experience in the Automotive industryExperience with SAP Concur systemPosition Type: Replacement
