Summary Start Date: Q2 2026 Job Location: Calgary, AB / Hybrid Employee Type: Full Time Travel Required: Limited Compensation: CAD$125,000 - $135,000 Reporting to the Director of Accounting & Treasury, the Accounting Team Lead plays a key role in overseeing and supporting all aspects of financial and operational accounting. This position is responsible for ensuring that transactions are accurately recorded, financial data is complete and reliable, and all activities are in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role also focuses on strengthening internal controls, enhancing reporting processes, and driving continuous improvements in efficiency and accuracy across the function. In addition to core accounting responsibilities, the Accounting Team Lead will supervise and mentor a staff accountant, fostering a high-performance, collaborative team environment. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, provide financial insights, and contribute to informed decision-making. The ideal candidate is both detail-oriented and forward-thinking, with a strong ability to streamline processes, adapt to a dynamic environment, and support the companys broader financial and operational objectives.
