You will work crossfunctionally with a team of innovative Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to deliver a worldclass product to our users. What Youll Be Doing Collaborating closely with our Product Managers and Product Designers in an agile environment to bring features to life and iterate on them based on our customers'' feedback. Using your knowledge of full stack development to support the team where needed, whether frontend or backend all of the ends. Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving software defects through manual testing and by developing and maintaining automated tests to ensure highquality and consistent releases. Participating in all Scrum rituals (planning, backlog grooming, sprint review, retrospectives and daily standups). Contributing to the transition of our application to a servicebased architecture. Squashing bugs as they come up because you have a focus on quality software. Contributing to technical estimates and planning for development tasks. Preparing and maintaining technical documentation for developed features and system components. What Youll Bring To The Team 3+ years of professional software development experience. Understanding of web applications with foundational development experience in both backend and frontend. A desire and ability to learn and grow; this team is quite Senior in its makeup and, as such, is a great learning opportunity ready to be taken advantage of. The ability to collaborate well in a team environment and work towards a common goal. A get it done attitude, but you understand the difference between smart shortcuts and risky ones. Knowledge of established development practices in order to maintain secure, reliable, and maintainable code. Experience with Relational Database Management System and comfortable writing SQL queries. Experience with designing and implementing REST APIs. Experience In The Following Is a Plus MySQL, PHP, React and AWS. AI tools like Windsurf, Cursor, Claude or similar. Prompt engineering. The majority of our team is based in ON and BC, which means these employees live and work remotely within a 300km radius of Toronto (within Ontario) and Vancouver (Within BC). We offer flexible coworking locations available to Loopers in ON and BC. Those based in ON have the option of working out of our convenient coworking space located in the heart of Downtown Toronto and a 12minute walk from Union Station. BC Loopers have the option to work centrally in Vancouver. It is whatever works best for you! Youll collaborate with your teams virtually across the UK, India, and North America with core sync hours and focus time for headsdown work during the workday.
