The Finance Associate is responsible for a variety of administrative and financial support duties. This role is primarily based at reception and serves as the first point of contact for visitors and incoming inquiries. In addition to frontfacing responsibilities, the role supports departmental objectives through vendor chargebacks, financial documentation, and general finance administration. Roles and Responsibilities Perform reception duties, including greeting and assisting visitors and managing incoming inquiries. Process customer credits and billing requests endtoend (including accurate calculations, coding, and chargebacks). Complete vendor chargebacks and prepare all required supporting documentation. Prepare and maintain monthly vendor reports (e.g., contract pricing deductions). Scan and file financial documentation into OpenText (document retention system). Manage customer cheque deposits, reviewing payments for accuracy and completeness. Prepare and distribute documentation to support local customer rebate payments. Attend meetings as required. Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding deficiencies or irregularities in standard processes. Manage a portfolio of finance administrative tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager, which may include primary or backup responsibilities in areas such as pricing, reception, accounts receivable, cash handling, or document imaging. Assist with customer pickups, including lifting and sorting products (up to 50 lbs). Health, Safety, and Compliance Comply with company Food Safety policies and procedures to ensure food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements are met. Work safely with minimal environmental impact and promptly report hazards, incidents, or environmental concerns to a supervisor. Take an active role in personal and team safety by identifying and speaking up about workplace hazards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 12 years of experience in a warehouse, customer service, or office environment. High school diploma or GED required. Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
