As a senior individual contributor, this role acts as a trusted advisor to executive and senior leaders, delivering strategic, handson HR support in a complex, missiondriven environment.Supporting a diverse range of specialized corporate client groups, the Senior HRBP balances strategic influence with operational excellence, partnering closely with leaders to translate HR strategy into practical, valuesaligned people solutions. This role is ideal for an experienced HR leader who thrives in a playercoach mindset without direct people leadership, brings sound judgement to complex situations, and is energized by meaningful impact.**Key Responsibilities:**Strategic HR Partnership* Serve as a strategic HR business partner and change agent to senior leaders across corporate functions* Build strong, trustbased relationships with leaders, providing expert advice on people strategy, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning* Translate and implement territorial HR strategies, policies, and programs to meet the unique needs of corporate client groupsEmployee Relations* Lead and resolve complex employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, and terminations, using a structured and riskaware approach* Assess and mitigate risk related to workplace relations, partnering with Legal, HR Centres of Excellence (COEs), and external agencies as required* Provide guidance supporting consistent application of employment legislationOrganizational Effectiveness & Change* Partner with leaders on organizational design, role clarity, team effectiveness, and change initiatives* Coach leaders through transformation, ambiguity, and change, ensuring people impacts are thoughtfully managed* Apply a systemsthinking and continuous improvement mindset to enhance HR practices and the employee experienceEnterprise HR Programs* Actively contribute to and support enterprisewide HR initiatives, including salary reviews, talent assessment, workforce planning, performance management, health & safety, training, and organizational change* Ensure people practices align with mission, values, and compliance requirements, while meeting business and operational needs**Experience & Qualification Requirements*** University degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field, CHRL or CPHR designation required* 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, including seniorlevel HRBP roles supporting complex client groups* Demonstrated success advising and influencing senior and executive leaders in large, multifaceted organizations* Strong, practical knowledge of HR practices across corporate/head office environments* Proven experience managing highrisk, complex employee relations issues with confidence and sound judgement* Demonstrated commitment to The Salvation Armys Mission and Core Values, with the ability to integrate mission into peoplerelated decisions* High level of selfawareness, integrity, and accountability; exercises discretion and sound judgement* Trusted advisor with strong coaching, consulting, and relationshipmanagement skills* Resultsoriented, organized, and comfortable operating autonomously as a senior individual contributor* Systems thinker with a continuous improvement and change mindset, capable of supporting leaders and employees through transition* Collaborative, inclusive, and resilient professional who models professionalism and respect.**Compensation:**The target hiring range for this position is $85,321.60 to $106,641.60 with a maximum of $127,982.40.Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.The Salvation Army will provide reasonable accommodation upon request.
