Knowledge of transportation legislation, commercial vehicle safety standards, investigative techniques, legal and court procedures, and public education practices. Mandatory requirements: POPAT completion, valid drivers licence, First Aid with AED, and psychological suitability for law enforcement. Training includes 22 weeks at the Saskatchewan Police College and 10 weeks of Commercial Vehicle Enforcement instruction. Responsibilities Inspect commercial vehicles and issue charges as necessary.
