Our team is growing and we are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to join our Vancouver office. About the role Effectively manage activities to ensure the successful delivery of the project on time, to budget and in accordance with Ausencos objectives. Ensure that the project runs according to project plans with appropriately skilled staff available at the required times to complete tasks. Manage the work in accordance with the project schedule and the project budget. Track and manage scope changes and trends actively identify quantity, cost and time trends and manage the change process. Maintain a professional and functional relationship with client personnel. Unwavering dedication to safety and proven ability to achieve deadlines. Support the study manager throughout the study as needed. Supervise the engineering disciplines to ensure alignment with the overall project design, objectives and KPIs. Document progress and outcomes; maintain the decision register, change register, RFI log, action list, and related project controls. About you Engineering degree from a recognized tertiary institution. Ideally 4-7 years of experience working in mining and minerals studies and/or projects. Substantial exposure to project scheduling, planning, cost control, estimating and reporting. Outstanding communication skills and ability to develop rapport with internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills. EPCM/EPC experience, including supervision of contractors and field personnel, will be viewed favorably but is not essential. Strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a zero-harm environment. Expected Salary: Variation in salary is determined by qualifications, relevant years of experience and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
