What Youll Be Doing Confirm that racks that have been orderpicked for drivers include all deliveries on the route. Drive a regular van or a Sprinter van. Stage the checked rack at the assigned stall in the parkade, along with any PPE provided. Support driver loading, ensuring idle time is kept to a minimum. Ensure only drivers whose racks are confirmed and staged enter the parkade. Build pallets according to shipping manifests. Keep traffic moving through the parkade quickly, safely, and efficiently. Load and unload using proper practices. Use Fresh Preps delivery software and accurately follow directions. Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking. Report discrepancies to the immediate supervisor. Ensure shipments contain proper documentation and, if multiple items per shipment, that item lists are complete. Maintain an organized work area according to policies, procedures and safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. What Were Looking For High school diploma or GED. Ability to read and interpret Excel spreadsheets and Google Sheets and use email and other computer applications. Confident communication skills with diverse individuals in a fastpaced environment. Ability to implement new processes or strategies in logistics. Ability to talk technical and nontechnical individuals about work. Flexibility with timing, staying until the job is done. Working experience in driving, order picking, or shipping and receiving preferred. Clear verbal and written communication ability. Basic mathematical skills. Valid drivers license and good driving record. Team player who can also work independently. Attention to detail. Strong organizational, timemanagement, and prioritizing skills. Strong work ethic and positive team attitude. Working Conditions Manual dexterity required to use desktop computers and peripherals. Overtime as required. Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs may be required. Work performed in a combination of environments and temperatures. Exposure to noise, dust, odors, fumes, and oils. What You Can Expect Schedule: Thursday (9AM1PM), Friday (10AM4PM), Saturday (10AM6PM). Pay: $18.80 per hour.
