Job Summary Working collaboratively with a diverse team of individuals to develop innovative and sustainable designs. Within a dynamic design team, the Electrical Designer I plays a fundamental role in the detailed design and production of electrical building systems, including lighting, low voltage, life safety, and control systems for various building types and applications. The Designer I performs tasks as directed by Intermediate and Senior Design Staff, including but not limited to setting up 2D drawings and supporting 3D building models, drafting electrical layouts, assisting with basic design calculations, and coordinating with the design team, equipment suppliers, and constructors to help assemble complete design packages for client submission. Responsibilities REVIT/AutoCAD Operator Set up AutoCAD/REVIT drawing files including digitizing and cleaning up working drawings LV, Life Safety, control and lighting schematic design layout and design with supervision of senior staff Ensure Introba design checklist (drawing standards section) is being followed Ensure Introbas Drawing Standards are being followed Detailed check of work prior to returning finished product to Designer Skills and Qualifications AutoCAD/REVIT experience coupled with some design experience in LV, HV, Life Safety, control and lighting systems University degree, college/technology diploma in Electrical Engineering Able to read Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical drawings with supervision of Senior staff Some knowledge of electrical building services engineering codes Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask and be a team player Core Competencies AutoCAD/REVIT design and drafting/modeling Technical Proficiency LV Control, lighting and life safety system design Technical Proficiency Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Organizational skills Accuracy and attention to detail Adaptable Team player Additional Information Introba is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $65,000 - $75,000 annually for this position and local market.
