Job Description

Store Manager The Shoe Co. As a Store Manager at The Shoe Co., you will report to the District Manager and lead the store environment, fostering inclusivity and diverse customer connections. You will coach and lead the team to achieve store objectives, including instore sales, web orders, goals, recruiting, performance management, training, and development. Your ability to problemsolve, thrive in a fastpace environment, lead a dynamic team, and execute operational excellence will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities Assume leadership role with accountability for maximizing store business results by consistently creating exceptional customer experiences. Facilitate achievement of business results by rolemodeling a shopping experience that encourages unique, responsive customer service, compelling merchandise presentation, and operational integrity. Lead an operationally sound business by balancing company policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling. Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent who love shoes. Achieve company objectives and enhance The Shoe Co. brand image by modeling values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity/humility. Develop and implement agile business plans to achieve results. Foster teamwork, collaboration, and change advocacy within the store and district. Maintain effective, open lines of communication with Senior Operational Managers. Qualifications Relevant postsecondary education. Minimum 4 years of progressive retail supervisory experience. Proven success in achieving sales and profitability targets in largevolume, hightraffic stores. Positive, energetic team player with strong leadership capability. Proven ability to motivate others. Proficiency in computer use, including email, MS Word, and Excel. Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment while committing to a compelling customer experience.
