Responsibilities Provide travel information to clients regarding destinations, transportation and accommodation options and travel costs, and recommend suitable products Plan and organize vacation travel for individuals or groups Make transportation and accommodation reservations using computerized reservation and ticketing system Sell single fare tickets and package tours to clients Promote particular destinations, tour packages and other travel services Investigate new travel destinations, hotels and other facilities and attractions Provide travel tips regarding tourist attractions, foreign currency, customs, languages and travel safety Requirements High school diploma or GED Completion of training A relevant license or certification Extensive experience in the travel industry and good geographical knowledge Experience in customer service may be advantageous Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong telephone and email etiquette A personable nature and sharp attention to detail Benefits Terms of Employment: Full time Permanent position 40 hours per week Day time Salary: $19.55 - $29.58 per hour Required Years of experience: 2 years to less than 3 years #J-18808-Ljbffr
