Job Description

Project The Woodfibre LNG Project is located approximately 7 km westsouthwest of Squamish, British Columbia. It involves the construction and operation of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility on the previous Woodfibre pulp mill site, which will have a storage capacity of 250,000 m and produce approximately 2.1 million tons per year of LNG. Woodfibre Management Ltd. is a privately held Canadian company based in Vancouver and a subsidiary of Pacific Energy Corporation Limited. Position The Director, Commercial Operations is an integral part of Woodfibre LNG''s dynamic team. This role reports to the CEO and CCO and will lead the development and implementation of all commercial operations activities, including gas nomination, scheduling and lifting of LNG and condensate. The Director will provide endtoend commercial operations oversight, from commercial arrangements required for safe plant operations through planning, execution and poststartup operations, ensuring operational efficiency and value return to shareholders. The Director acts as the bridge between technical, operations and the market. Key Responsibilities Commercial Operations Planning and Execution Act as project/integration manager for overall commercial operations readiness aligned with the project timeline, including development of tool/system/agreements and procedures. Review all associated commercial agreements (GSA, SPA, Power, Pipeline, Gas Supply, etc.) operational clauses to support risk assessments and draft an operations playbook. Develop and integrate planning (VST daily, ST weekly, MT monthly, LT annual+), systems (signals agreements, etc.), and protocols to manage all required commercial agreements and operating modes (including upsets) associated with utilities for plant operations, key consumable products, nomination, and lifting. Integrate and plan all associated marine and transport requirements for nominations and lifting activities. Execute simulation program wargaming with all parties across the integrated valuechain (wellhead to wake). Value Optimisation and Business Development Lead analysis in optimisation of plant utilisation and operational reliability (ontime deliveries, schedule efficiency). Provide operational review/analysis of business development opportunities, crafting operationally viable structures. Commercial/Board Governance and Risk Management Support the CCO with datadriven insights and advice regarding operational risks and opportunities across the gas and LNG value chain. Lead on key external relationships required to deliver flawless commercial operations (Power, Pipeline, SLAs, Nominations, Shipping, etc.). Sustainability, Regulatory, Commercial Compliance Lead commercial operations strategies that align with approved environmental sustainability and emissions performance targets including GHG. Analyze evolving regulatory requirements into clear operational position and frameworks. Requirements Required Experience Minimum 15 years experience in LNG (Project, StartUp, and SteadyState phases) specializing in operations, commercial, and project delivery. Exposure to multiJV arrangements, complex regulatory regimes, and complex commercial arrangements. Proven experience in managing multimillion dollar contracts and projects. Additional Requirements Experience working with large multi-disciplinary teams and contractors in a multicultural environment is an asset. Communication/interpersonal skills interacting with frontline workers through to management and all hierarchical levels. Accepts responsibility and demonstrates a commitment to the delivery of tasks and targets. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to be innovative and visionoriented with demonstrated ability to undertake strategic planning and implementation. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Expertise with a variety of computer programs (Office 365, MS Teams, MS Visio, MS Project Control, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign, etc.). A valid driver''s license and passport. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. This role will be a combination of office and site based. The position is based in the Vancouver office and requires visits to the site project as required. Benefits Salary range: CAD 190,000 240,000 per year.
