Compensation And Benefits: The expected base salary range for this position, when hired into our Toronto location, is CAD $105,000 $125,000 per year. For positions based in other jurisdictions, compensation will be determined in alignment with local regulations, market benchmarks, and internal frameworks. The actual salary will vary based on factors including location, experience, qualifications, education, skills, and market conditions. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic person to join PartnerRe in the Toronto office in the Financial Projections Team for the North American Life and Health business unit. This team interacts closely with Finance, Pricing, and Valuation functions. We encourage innovations and process improvements from all staff. FCT, Annual Statutory Plan (IFRS17), Appointed Actuary Report, Stress testing, and support ORSA for the Canadian Legal Entity. Annual Statutory Plan for US Legal Entity. Quarterly projection of expected LICAT Ratios for Canadian Legal Entity. Investigating, testing, and implementing new ways to leverage new and existing tools and technologies to deliver results. Other projects and duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment. Demonstrated analytical, problem identification and resolution skills with attention to detail. High degree of accountability and professional ethics. Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communicator (written and oral). Ability to handle multiple assignments and communicate prioritizations to required levels. Highest degree of personal competence (self-awareness, self-management). Bachelors Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or related discipline. 3-5 years of actuarial work experience. Completed or almost completed an actuarial designation. Experience with various actuarial reporting and capital regimes is an asset. Experience modeling in GGY AXIS. Experience with databases and data analytics tools (e.g., SQL and R) is an asset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with expertise in Excel.
