A Snapshot of Your Day You will, along with a team that you help direct and lead, sell technical products, services, installations, and configurations to assigned customers for specific technical products and/or application of product. Provide technical interface between the customer and company engineering, manufacturing and program management representatives. Research customer technical specifications and requirements with current or potential technical specifications of company products. Prepare and conduct technical sales briefings for customer and company representatives. Develop potential technical specifications, pricing considerations and contract requirements. Prepare sales forecasts. Investigate new applications or improvements to products with customers. How Youll Make An Impact Team Leadership: Lead team of 4 regional distributed Bid/Business Development managers to mentor/coach, and support on their day-to-day operations. Workload Management: Distribute opportunities across team members to maintain manageable workloads while keeping up with market demands and quality of responses to customers. Reporting & Controlling: Responsible to report, as needed, to Senior Management, order intake projections including strategies to keep targets on track while navigating market fluctuations. Contract Negotiations: Review and support Bid/Business Development managers to timely conclude contract negotiations with customers and stakeholders (factories, management, etc.) meeting companys contractual strategy. Factory Relationships: Maintain positive and constructive relationships with key factory stakeholders to resolve conflicts and to sustain interest in the North American market for future projects. Offer Strategy: Set up initial guidance to improve the success rate of engaging into an opportunity, based on previous results and actual business mandates. Responsible for overseeing order execution by global factories while keeping revenue and cash inflows for the regional company in line with yearly Key Performance Indicator targets. Risk Management: Identify, monitor and collect opportunities to improve the revenue plan aligned with Managements requirements. Conflict Management & Resolution: Lead the immediate point of escalation after the Project Manager and before Senior Management to resolve customer claims and requests. What You Bring Bachelors in Engineering Degree, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical. Experience in Electrical Equipment industry, or excellent interpersonal and technical skills can replace experience. Effective communication and presentation skills, ability to read customers position during negotiation, and ability to collaborate with customers and factory teams to win business.
