We are seeking a Software Developer Automation Tester to help accelerate the adoption of intelligent automation testing across Air Canadas IT, Data, and Digital teams. This role is responsible for integrating automation solutions and frameworks provided by the Air Canadas Quality Management Office (QMO) into delivery pipelines, executing QA processes, and providing leadership and mentorship to delivery pods on all aspects of quality assurance. The Software Developer Automation Tester will report to a QA Manager within Air Canadas Quality Management Office, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide quality standards and governance. Qualifications University degree in related field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology) Minimum of 3-5 years experience in software testing, automation, and QA leadership Experience defining automation strategies, setting KPIs, and driving continuous improvement. Proven experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks across multiple platforms (web, mobile, API). Passion for performance debugging and benchmarking. Experience working with remote & cross functional teams Strong communication skills, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring experience.
