Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and curious UX Researcher to join our Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS) UX Research team at Amazon in Vancouver, BC . In this role, you will partner closely with product, design, and business teams to generate actionable insights that shape customer-facing and internal service experiences at scale. As a UX Researcher, you will independently plan and execute mixed-methods research including usability studies, generative discovery, surveys, and contextual inquiry to inform product strategy and design decisions. You will translate complex findings into clear, compelling narratives that help stakeholders understand customer needs and prioritize with confidence. Key Responsibilities Design and conduct end-to-end research studies using qualitative and quantitative methods Synthesize findings into clear insights and recommendations that drive product and design decisions Partner with UX designers, product managers, and business stakeholders to identify research opportunities and integrate insights into the product development lifecycle Communicate research findings to cross-functional teams and leadership through presentations, reports, and artifacts Contribute to team research standards, processes, and knowledge-sharing practices Support Guided Self-Service research initiatives, enabling product teams to conduct lightweight research with appropriate guidance Use AI tools to increase research velocity and reduce workload Basic Qualifications 3+ years of proven success leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact Bachelor''s degree in HCDE, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field Experience leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact End-to-end research experience covering study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, and reporting Experience with lab-based user testing, remote testing, iterative prototype testing, survey design, and multiple methods within a study Portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g., study plans, reports, personas) Preferred Qualifications Master''s degree in Human Factors, HCDE, or Cognitive Psychology Knowledge of quantitative data analysis and statistics Experience conducting and applying research in a global context Experience working in a highly Agile/Scrum environment Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $83,900 $140,100 CAD annually. Total compensation may include sign-on payments and RSUs.
