What matters to us 10 years of management and professional experience in comparable positions in an international construction and infrastructure environment; commercial and financial experience within the STRABAG Group is an advantage. Comprehensive understanding of operational, contractual, legal and technical processes within construction projects. Proficiency in MS Office, and other modern commercial software solutions such as MS Dynamics (AS4U knowledge beneficial). Excellent command of English; German language skills are advantageous. High degree of international competence and ability to operate confidently within a multinational matrix organisation. Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of developing, motivating and retaining highperforming teams. Confident professional presence with strong negotiation skills, strategic judgement and a structured, resultsoriented working style. Strong organisational capability, excellent communication skills and resilience in complex project environments. Your contribution to our company Commercial and financial leadership of a Canadian Business Unit, working in close collaboration with the Technical Business Unit Manager and SubDivision management. Development, formulation and execution of commercial and strategic targets, ensuring alignment with the SubDivisions objectives and STRABAG Group policies. Preparation of internal monthly and annual financial statements and comprehensive performance reporting to SubDivision management. Continuous commercial controlling to ensure achievement of economic objectives, cost discipline, cashflow stability and longterm business performance. Full responsibility for budget planning, forecasting, and financial steering throughout the fiscal year, combined with active involvement in project acquisition, including commercial tender strategy, risk evaluation, and contract drafting and negotiation. Providing commercial duediligence input to STRABAGs M&A activities and supporting the evaluation of strategic acquisition opportunities. Oversight of the commercial project lifecycle, ensuring disciplined management of deadlines, cost, quality, safety, change control and contract administration. Professional and disciplinary leadership of the employees, including targeted support through regular employee appraisals, target agreements and individual development measures. Ensuring robust compliance with STRABAG Group governance, legal requirements, internal guidelines and Group Commercial Procedures. Preemployment screening is required for this position.
